Accessibility

Everyone should be able to use this site.

We build and test it to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the most widely used standard for web accessibility. If anything here gets in your way, tell us and a person will help.

What we do

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline on whatever has focus.
  • Pages are built for screen readers: real headings, labelled controls and landmarks, and text alternatives for images.
  • Text and controls meet the AA contrast ratios, checked automatically every time the site is built.
  • Animation stops when your device asks for reduced motion, and moving product rows have a pause button.
  • Pages reflow to narrow screens and large zoom without hiding content.
  • Every lab certificate on the site has its full text on its own page, so it can be read aloud.

What we know is not perfect yet

Lab certificates are PDFs

The certificates of analysis are produced by the independent laboratories, and their PDFs are not tagged for screen readers. Each certificate page has the full report as text, and we will read any report to you over the phone.

Checkout is Shopify's

Payment happens on Shopify's secure checkout, which Shopify builds and maintains. If it gives you trouble, call us and we will help.

Photos of packaging

Some product photos show the printed bag or label. The strength and the lot details are written out on each product page as text.

Get help or tell us about a problem
